One of the standout items on the menu is the cheesesteak, widely recognized as some of the best in the area. As customer John Mcnamara remarked, “We have settled on Real Pizza for the best cheesesteaks by far.” The combination of tender, juicy meat, fresh ingredients, and a perfect hoagie roll makes each bite blissful. Add to that the signature, crispy fries, which some claim are simply the best around — it's no wonder this dish has earned such rave reviews. Tim Trucksess also highlighted their unique Greek-style fries topped with feta and a yogurt sauce, which are a must-try for anyone seeking something different.

Of course, how can we overlook the pizza? The thin crust pizza at Real Pizza Narberth strikes a delicate balance between crispy and chewy, as noted by Grant Schmidt. “It’s greasy but not messy,” he mentioned, reflecting the artistry behind their pizza-making technique. The attention to detail extends to presentation, where different slice choices maintain their individuality even when packed together, a testament to their commitment to quality.

For those seeking variety, the menu doesn’t stop at pizza and cheesesteaks. Customers rave about the authentic hoagies, fresh salads, and even a standout egg salad sandwich—an unassuming delight that Jordyn Schwartz insists is the best on the Main Line. Took my wife here on one of our first dates. We are now happily married years later and still eat their cheesesteaks regularly. The cheesesteaks here are unrivaled in my opinion.

What a great place! Visiting daughter, went here to get take out pizza. Love local in town spots. Also got wings and something called Greek style fries-with feta and a sauce made with yogurt. The owners were so friendly & nice. Ordered, walked around town for 15 minutes and returned for food. Everything was great. I will be back.

We have been in Penn Valley for 15 years and settled on Real Pizza for the best cheese steaks in the area by far. Today was the first time trying the garden salad with chicken. The chicken was so amazing, so tender and juicy. It was a generous amount too. The fries are also the best around. The cooking oil must always be fresh and at the perfect temp. Definitely a great place to pick up from or have delivered. Definitely go! Don’t go to eat in unless there’s only one or two people or you sit outside.

Texas Tommy hot dog was great. Tuna on rye was fabulous. Cheesesteak, some of the best I ever had. Pizza is very good. Stephanie and her husband are a pure delight.

I’VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR YEARS with my best friend and my family! Absolutely incredible food that brings us so much joy! Casual dining environment and definitely comfort food. Especially growing up, we got dinner and then went to the movies across the street! A very fun time and convenient location! You can also walk to ice cream afterwards a minute away! Not just that, but you get the Real Pizza craving and then great service, with usually a 10, 15 minute wait time for pickup! (More common to pickup I think since not a ton of seating, but I have enjoyed eating inside or outside). Some of our favorites are the plain pizza (my friend is very selective with food and she always loves the chicken tenders and fries too), and my personal favorite is their egg salad sandwich on a Kaiser roll that comes with pickles. Not sure if this is popular but it’s a MUST TRY! Best egg salad on the mainline in my opinion (and I’m Jewish and know a great egg salad)! Real pizza staff are great and always happy to see me, and you definitely need to come here! A staple restaurant if you live here, are in the area, or are visiting. Even on my breaks from college and living a little farther, I always make a point to come back.

The pizza is delicious. Very satisfying and tasty. I can polish off a whole pizza and feel unsatisfied but two slice and I'm good. Wide, thin crust. Good geometry. It's not long and unwieldly pizza. Greasy but not messy. If you get two different slices they put it in one box and each one is on a paper plate but the middle one is upside down so as to keep them wholly seperate; point is: they know how to do pizza right. It's the little details. First time there and I'll definitely be back. -Shot Tec
